  • Parvum Indium

Hi guys! New year equals new build or should I say builds because i'm crazy enough to start 2 at a time!!! But let's talk about this one here!

My living room HTPC currently reside in an InWin 901. Even if the case is full of style, it isn't really watercooling friendly. Also the tinted tempered glass looks good but if you wanna enjoy the inside gear it's a bit hard. And finally, with my living room config, the PC has to be on the left side of the TV and because of that a reverse layout case is better suited than a standard layout.

For all these reasons I decided to replace the case and at the same time the watercooling. I decided to go with my friends at Parvum with their beautiful X1.0 ITX case "The Veer" Edition.

The build is simply called Indium which is a silvery white metal and it's a sweet match with the color combination of White and Silver that will be present in many aspect of the build.

As always, I hope you will enjoy it!

The "Veer" Edition is a normal Parvum X1.0 ITX case but more watercooled oriented.

            Hi!!

Here are the first tease of the build!!

            The case panels

            The components

            The watercooling gear

            27mm vs 33mm

The EK-HD Fittings fits perfectly with the new EK-AF Adapters

            One semi-unrelated thing...

Antony Leather put did a small article in CustomPC Magazine on the Parvum S2.0 rigs of Easynator and mine and Justin put a copy of the magazine in my shipment!

I will have the first pictures of the case later or tomorrow.

Here's the first steps of the case. I will let the case this way for a while because I realized that I was missing one top panel in my order.

Justin at Parvum already handled the situation. What a cool guy!

But while I wait I will be able to progress anyway since I have some hardware to mount and also I will paint the radiators silver. So the log will still be active!!

                Enjoy!

Looking good. I love that the new Asus Z97I-Plus doesn't have that huge VRM daughtercard any more.

I guess the case uses SFX PSU only?

It is a sucky shame that the top panel is missing. Another great ITX case that has removable panels making for super easy install. I also like Darkside radiators because they are so easy to paint.

                        Thanks!

The X1.0 Veer Edition fits a standard ATX PSU

If you choose the standard Parvum X1.0 which is smaller since it doesn't have top radiator support then this one is an SFX PSU case.

                          Hi everyone!

It's been a while since the last update but it will start to gain some speed in the next days.

This week I painted the Darkside radiators in silver and i'm quite happy with the result and the match with the case.

I also started to install some components but this will come in a next update.

                          Here's some pictures!

In the next days I will receive my missing case parts and also my sleeving from Ensourced. So you can expect things to go quickly soon!

                          Cheers!

Luc, can you make pictire of parvum fan and radiator connection? Is there a small gap or not?
