  • Sweet update Trestles, love the cables and the acrylic work. Should look amazing with the top window.

I think if you want to just run the fans off their own psu you should get a smaller one, seems like too much overkill to use 25w of 850, lol.

And the extra thickness of the bigger rads isn't a huge difference. You will see more improvement by adding more rads, or more specifically, more fans. Fans are what do the cooling in the end, even in a water loop. Increasing fan speed or doing push/pull is always better than thicker radiators, and adding another radiator is also better than getting a thicker one. Thick radiators can actually be worse than thin ones if your fans aren't moving as much air through them.

    • Your 1000 watt should handle it all, thicker rads won't be noticeable imho surface area is king so more rads if ya can would be better. At one point is for not though, 2 quads is usually more than enough. Push pull is also not worth it imho, pull is fine or push if need be.

      • Thanks agree with all u said gonna buy another 360ek rad and just picked up 4 more gentle typhoons. Might even go 360 in the flex bay as well to make it 3 360s with one 240! And move my aquero 6 to the lower pedastal! So many decisions need to sell a surfboard and make a run to micro pcs! Getting tired of paying shipping from performance pcs

        • I can always do push pull but would running a difference fan on the pull side affect performance I have like 12 corsair sp120s that I hate the look of I could put on the inside of the pedestal and gentle typhoons on the outside

          • Anyone have a online shop to buy the parts needed to do something like this? Wouldn't mind having the pedestal easily disconnected by a cable plug and a quick disconnect fitting for the loop

              • Friendly brainstorming

                Opinions welcome

Thinking of mounting two d5s with ek tops off the front horizontal radiators. Clockwork got back to me about doing custom work .

Has anyone every done a flat roof resivoir constructed like a water plate ?

The idea would be to have each pump have a water plate res mounted down the top length of the s8 frame about 4inchs wide. And rubbing entire depth of top of case

Would be the highest point and there would be a fitting going directly to the inlet of each pump then at the end of loop there would be a fitting going back up to bottom of resivoir plate near rear of case.

Question is filling would a single stop plug up top suffice? I know having a air pocket would be unavoidable. Only thing I see doing is CNcin the top panel at full port on inside to leave a pocket for air to gather and make it easier to get "full" look and ease of fill

I'll draw something up when home but he seems totally on board and always loved a good water plate
