    Hi

    Let just say that in astrophotography the colder that you can get the camera the better.
    My Santa Barbara Instruments ST-9 astronomic camera could reach -20C ambient out of the box. But after adding a few parts from DazMod it can now reach -70C ambient! That is not too shabby considering that professional observatories cool their megabucks cameras to -100C ambient using liquid nitrogen.

          The observatory-cottage is located 100Km North of Ottawa. It's been long since I've taken any "pretty pictures" I was never very good at it. I now do photometric variable star research. Just gathering data for the big brain pros so they can work on questions like Life, the Universe and Everything
