4 hours straight is impossible for me too. If I can not do something in an hour, I'm done.

I think near 2 hours was just cutting and stripping the cable! lots of coffee breaks and music changes hehe.
just taking my time cause I hate redoing them more than just taking a long time to do it right. If the cables weren't perfect the sleeve couldn't be.

That's because we're old and gimpy Daz ; 4 hours is not as unusual as it sounds, when I'm trying to figure out my tubing runs, I've spent up to 8 hours or more (standing in one spot) working on it.

Is it just my luck or has anyone else noticed that the EK Rads are not well tapped for the mounting bolts. I had to buy a 3mm tap so as not to strip out the threads trying to make the bolts.
I've had this issue with all 4 of the EK rads I've used so far. Good rads but man the quality is brought down by this.

Yes I have been thru that too Hooded
metal is thin but you would think they could do better taps

Ek would be my last choice for rads. Oldest Magicool models with easy to punch tubes. XSPC use different supplier and they tweaked design on EX/AX models. Also Larger screws make more sense, like 6-32 or M4. Many European manufacturers use small crews which drives me nuts...

Brechan: Tube routing is like a puzzle, so I can do that for long time . Cable sleeve is elbow grease LOL

                  P.S. Im a grumpy or what ?

I posted this issue on they're Facebook page.
So now all can see before they buy HAHA.

I really like the vent port on the EK-XTX series of rads and was main reason to got them. I see though, on many tests where the XSPC RX version actually preform better than these.

                      Front Radiators Setup

This update shows my plan for mounting my front rads
I had to cut a little bit at the bottom of the 5ΒΌ" drive bays to allow space for my rads

These next 3 shots show how the rads will be positioned

This shot shows the rails I'll be using to mount the rads

The rails will be J.B. Welded to these brackets that bolt to the rads sandwich assembly.

More updates after the J.B. Weld dries.

Nice! How are the fans going to be set up on those 2 rads?

In the pictures I'm using 4 Gelid Silent 1000RPM fans. I have another 4 Yate Loons that are 120x120x20 to go on the outside of the rads. That makes it a solid block from left side of case to right side of case. I'm with in a millimeter of the sides with that con fig.

I was going to use 2 feser 55mm think fans for the center but I had not the room.
