very excellent. great choice to use a simple 24 pin extension.
congrats on great finish.
Thanks.
I seen the wiring kit you bought and almost got it. Then I thought it would be a waste of money to get a full kit since I only have two six pin and one 24 pin showing. Just made the most sense to get inexpensive extensions. I got a modding toolkit from the local electronics shop here so my next build will have all custom sleeving. Yay!
It did take a lot of time. At one point I had to walk away and leave it for the whole weekend. Funny thing is I couldn't enjoy my weekend knowing the computer was still all frazzled and tattered laying in a mess down at the shop.
Looks great! Love those thermaltake riing fans, matches your orange theme very well! And nice cable management. Hope you never have to remove anything, lol, I've done zipties and they can be a pain if you do a rebuild.
Although I'm not big fan of zip-ties, I really like how all cables are separated by functional group.
Thanks DazMode! I couldn't have done this build without you!
I agree I've been thinking about incorporating cable troughs with Velcro straps but would need a much wider case like caselabs or a cube style case. I also use the zip ties to color code some of my wires. different color means different things. ie. green means it's a fan with a resistor, blue is a fan cable without resister, red is 5 volt, yellow is 8 pin and 24pin motherboard power, pink is front panel io, white is lighting and orange is 12v power. I code all my builds the same so there is no confusion when I go back to it a year later.

I wasn't going to use the thermaltake fans. I was going to go with all Antec TrueQuiet UFO fans but the blue clashed with the orange.
