Hi all, I'm almost new here, even though I've been shopping on Dazmode for a few years already, I've never been on the forums. This is not really a build thread but more the result of what I've been working on for the past few days .
The parts are from my last build, so not current gen components. I just wanted to upgrade the case and cooling. Maintenance was due and had a tube leaking so I guess it was the right time!
CPU: 4790k @ 4.9ghz
Mobo: MSI Gaming 5
GPUs: GTX 980ti SLi
Ram: Crucial Ballistix Elite 16gb
Waterblock and fittings are all Bitspower.
Rads: Alphacool UT60
I started looking at many cases then I came across the P5. Thermaltake.. meh, not a fan of the brand but I thought it would be original. So I ordered the case impulsively.. to find out minutes later
how many build log there are with that case. Oops, oh well, too late.
I wanted the tubing to surround the res, with long tube runs. I went with the 12mm because I think they look more elegant and clean to my taste. It also helps to exaggerate the long tubing runs.
I'm kinda happy how it ended up, but the tube from the bottom radiator going back to the pump is killing me. I wanted the tube to go from bottom rad to the top of the reservoir, parallel to the other tube, but didn't
have enough tubing . Meh, next time! It's done for now and gonna upgrade when the "1180ti" will show!
Hope you like it
