I have a full ste of modular cable for EVGA 1000G2 from Bitfenix
they made them exact like EVGA, 2 wire crimped and soldered together at 24 pins end
just impossible to use closed cable combs
I modified them, I soldered them at 2" fome the psu, like that I have only one cable to the 24 pins
but, to be honest, I will redo a full set of cable, not because cable are not good, just because color scheme , I want white, orange and black
will look on your pre-sleeved cable how much it cost to do a 24 pins and 4 x 8pins PCIe

Just placed an order for both closed combs and various length sleeved cables.
Hopefully CP doesn't drop the ball and I get them this Friday.Blue Dragon CM690 II an i7 - 960 x58 build

Ok, here is clarification.
Second wire is sensor wire that used to monitor voltage under the load. Older model has that for only one voltage, but new models monitor all three. This is performance improvement feature and can be removed, but if you want to preserve that cleanest way just to make small jumper wire between psu connectors instead of y cable.__________________________________________________

Do you mean a small jumper cable inside the PSU?
Wouldn't that require a soldered connection?Blue Dragon CM690 II an i7 - 960 x58 build

That what I mean by jumper cable modification
Great idea for the cables though! I was buying pre-made extensions and popping out all the ends to make my own wires, lol.
Also gonna grab one of those tiny screwdrivers for those hard to reach screws. Been needing something like that for a while.
