any possibilities to have double wire pre-sleeve? all PSU have 2 to 4 double wire
Snef, I belive you have some pre-made custom cables from CableMod or similar. How did they do that? Can you make a picture of double wire?

I have a full ste of modular cable for EVGA 1000G2 from Bitfenix

they made them exact like EVGA, 2 wire crimped and soldered together at 24 pins end

just impossible to use closed cable combs

I modified them, I soldered them at 2" fome the psu, like that I have only one cable to the 24 pins

but, to be honest, I will redo a full set of cable, not because cable are not good, just because color scheme , I want white, orange and black

will look on your pre-sleeved cable how much it cost to do a 24 pins and 4 x 8pins PCIe

Just placed an order for both closed combs and various length sleeved cables.
Hopefully CP doesn't drop the ball and I get them this Friday.

          Ok, here is clarification.

Second wire is sensor wire that used to monitor voltage under the load. Older model has that for only one voltage, but new models monitor all three. This is performance improvement feature and can be removed, but if you want to preserve that cleanest way just to make small jumper wire between psu connectors instead of y cable.

Do you mean a small jumper cable inside the PSU?
Wouldn't that require a soldered connection?

No, I meant wire between two connectors on psu side that would require to recrimping presleved wire to add that. I don't think that connection cable can be sleeved , there is not enough space to go into connector, so I'd would just use black wire without sleeve.

Had to do that to sleeve my EVGA PSU's. Couldn't get the combs on the 24 pin cablemod kit because there were 2 wires going into the mobo end on a few pins.

Great idea for the cables though! I was buying pre-made extensions and popping out all the ends to make my own wires, lol.

Also gonna grab one of those tiny screwdrivers for those hard to reach screws. Been needing something like that for a while.
