You folks are awesome I'm going to stick with 2xXTX480+EX360+5000btu portable a/c unit for now hehe (don't want to trip the 15a circuit on my comp room, I have a plasma as monitor and this thing pulls some juice). I'd be happy with 10c-15c load delta above ambient if it's achievable, heck i'm going to try and make it happen (now thats the spirit lol). The chase is on.

Daz, hopefully our tap water here ain't straight pipe from the lake or else I won't be making my morning glory from it (coffee) hehe.

Seems gdesmo likes to live dangerously with those teks. Goodluck to your project bro, hope you reach your goals and when you decide to get rid of those monsta's you know where to find me So how much volts needed for your 3770k to get 5Ghz stable?

      Cheers,
      "Casper B!"

Are those old MONSTAs or Althocool just too lazy to change TFC logo?

Looks like that monsta is in pretty bad condition. There's already paint chips etc. So the monsta used to be a product of TFC eh? (pets his 1 week old xtx 480, "don't worry dear, your twin will be arriving tomorrow hehe")

            Cheers,

Not a ricer rig and it's not as bad as you think. If I wanted I could melt off the end cap and straighten it out if I chose, btw the less paint on a rad the better it can dissipate heat,a little touch up paint wouldn't hurt though.

Finally got the twins running last night As usual the XTX 480 was in pristine condition. I'm currently leak testing the loop and trying to remove the remaining bubbles. One of my UK3000 started ticking like a maniac, should grab some more 38mm koolance fans

The twins, monsta eat your heart out heheh

That's a whole lot of RAD!
I found those Koolance 38mm fans to be rather loud and not very good at under volting to quite them. Required 8 volts to start running. Personally I would recommend the 55mm TFC Triebwerk 61CFM @ 21db. I've found these fans to be very quite, start at around 6 volts and at full power they are still nice and quite. I got some 38mm Koolance fans just kicking around while I figure a place I can use them and the noise won't be heard. You want to get these before Daz sells out as they are now discontinued.
You'll also gain about 50% better cooling performance NOT using a sandwich setup. But one must work with in the space provided.
