It's alive!!!! I still need to connect the non fun cables (case power) and do cable management but it posts, hell, it even boots into the windows installation left over on the 128GB SSD. CPU temp was only 23 degrees when it was idling so at least I know I didn't install the cooler wrong :p

Also thinking of either grabbing some nice extensions at some point or doing another full sleeve job depending on my level of laziness. Will get Windows installed tonight and doing some stress testing to make sure everything is as it should be.

Did some testing with Intel XTU. Ran the cpu stress test for a while at the stock speed (3.6Ghz) Package temperature never exceeded 53 degrees. Seems this Phanteks cooler does quite well. Will know more when I start overclocking.
Got 4.4 stable at 1.28 volts. Under XTU stress testing, package temperature hit a maximum of 74 degrees. Will need to tweak the voltage to get it as low as possible while maintaining stability but this CPU seems to be a lottery winner.Last edited by Chann3l; 04-20-2017, 07:09 AM.

Did some more testing, I'm happy to report that I can run 4.4ghz at 1.27v stable with the first xmp memory profile of 2666Mhz. For some reason the second xmp profile at 2800 tries to set the CPU to 5.60 GHz...That might have just been a weird anomaly though.
Edit: Nevermind the 5.6 is because the second xmp profile adjust the bclk to reach 2800 haha.Last edited by Chann3l; 04-21-2017, 07:23 PM.
