Speaking of rads, the mail lady dropped off a package from the Dazmode store. Ordered on Saturday, got here on Tuesday . Forging ahead with 2nd loop, so to get things rolling, I picked up a reservoir and a rad.
Sawed a hole in the front panel.
Just clamped on the outer front panel to get some measurements.
Mounted a fan with the frame from a Scythe 12mm fan as a spacer so I could come out of the top rear port of the rad with a 90 degree rotary.
The port on the bottom that is to be used as a drain port was a little crooked, so ended up using connectors and acrylic tube instead of a 30mm extension that was originally planned.
Stole the fill port from the top panel to use as a drain port because I forgot to get another bulkhead fitting.
Did a lot of re-configuring of fittings and hoses. Had to lose the 'Y' fitting and dual returns to the reservoir.
The line going to the bottom of the new rad is the return from the video card. This is the route it will take when the loop is finished, so I am temporarily coming out the top of the rad and back to the 450ml reservoir so that the machine can remain operational. The other lines will be connected when I get funding for a DDC PWM pump and a top.
Will probably mount the reservoir to the rad and the pump will sit above the right-side fan in the floor.
Finished the four splitters. The 3rd one from the left will be for the pump and the fourth one over is for the rad fan(s)

There was still some room left, so I mounted a push fan on the rad and made a mounting bracket for the Aquacomputer bracket that comes with the 150ml reservoir.
I guess it's always a good idea to check stuff before installing it.
Mounted the 150ml reservoir. The Aquacomputer bracket is kind of flimsy but the return line at the top should keep it steady.
Before the new reservoir was installed, the top panel could be removed by reaching in and unthreading the locknut on the fillport and then unscrewing the fillport. That wasn't possible anymore so the fillports are going to be mounted on an inner plate.
A rotary 90's threads will stick up through the hole and an 8mm F/F extension will act as a locknut. In these pictures the F/F extension is 10mm. So in the finished install, the fillports won't sit as high.
The front-most port is the fillport for the 450ml reservoir. After removing the 2nd return line to the 450ml reservoir, there was a port available to use for releasing air when filling. So the middle port is to be for air release. Now I won't need that 1/8th inch tube inside the 3/8th inch tube. The rear port is for filling the 150ml reservoir.
