I got side tracked by a sagging video card issue. The end where the cables plug in was about 2-3mm lower than the other end. The DazMode store has Bitspower vga supports but they are a bit shorter than what I was looking for. Wanted to also support the PCI-E cables which were pulling down on the pcb. These midrange video cards don't have much support even when the shroud is still attached. So I started out with inch and a half by 1/8 aluminum flat bar and ended up with this. I just received an Aquaero 6 Pro today. Spent last week preparing a home for it.

Added a 2 1/4" plate just under the top 1" angle of the rear compartment. It will sit in there somewhere. The LED now sits under that plate

The .062" left panel is there to dress up the interior of the front compartment. The .090" right panel is there in case I have to mount something else inside the rear compartment.

Another panel will cover the whole front of the case.

                      The Aquaero has landed

Took a couple of weeks to change around some of the splitters and wiring.

Found some small perf boards at Sayal Electronics to make fan splitters. Have to get more male 4 pin soldered headers. There will be 2 splitters on each board.

Finished the fillport, but it turned out to be a poor design. Kept getting air locks in tube and it was hard to get coolant into the reservoir. Ended up inserting that 1/8" tube into the line. Inject coolant into 1/8" tube and air comes out of res through the 3/8' hose.

Decided to add a couple of 120mm fan over top of Aquaero and PSU, so back to cutting, filing ,and sanding.

I was thinking about adding two fans to the top of the rear compartment, but then went with one. Did not want to have to remove a fan to work on the fan controller.

Curious to see what the flow rate was, so I added a flow meter to the loop.

The two double rotary 90 fittings were left over from the '353 Refresh' and I had the Koolance M/M rotary sitting around for a few years because it didn't really match anything and it has a very loose action. Works here though. The inlet and outlet of the filter sit about an 1/8 inch off the midplate so you need a lot of fittings with these, depending on how you mount it.

Made it so that the water temp sensors can be unplugged because they have already been removed once.

Finished the back / side cover panel. Just need to price some tempered glass or acrylic.

This is a screenshot of the Aquaero info page in Aquasuite. She was idling for a few minutes at the time. When the D5 Vario is cranked up to 5, I'm getting .7 gal/min. I've read that optimum flow is 1 gal/min so I might have to do some re-configuring. Guessing that 4 blocks, a filter and about 2700 degrees of bend could be a bit much. Might have to put the GPU in a separate loop.

Off to pick up more aluminum sheet.
