OK... So I've got the day off.
thought I would spend some time to get this rig running again.

leak tested my blocks.

Raystorm CPU ... check
MIPS mobo ... check
BP RAM ... check

EKWB 680 GPU block..... GUSHING like a 5 cent sieve

damn it! this will be my second over priced EK block to fail.
is there anyone who's ever RMA'd with EK directly?

said F-it and re-installed the stock heatsink on the 680...

rest of the build is coming together nicely... pics tonite.

AWh im sorry to hear man. I haven't dealt with EK directly no , but I have rma'd funky blocks to PPCS in the states at my own cost. :\
So I feel you. Just slap the stock fan back on for now until you get the block problem situated. hehe

Ok kids... last installment of for this build log. If I do anything after this, it will be a salvage operation and nothing more.

replaced the 680 stock cooler. temps in maxed out Heaven bench barely hit 60C ... and I did nothing to the fan profiles... so win.
removed the EK tube Rez, and replaced it with the dual bay single D5 XSPC rez...
I know I know, its held in the front bay by one screw and the force of tubes.
also removed the second rad..no need for that... put back the original CM big red fan.
and of course, way too lazy to make the cables look all pretty.
she runs, and for sure its good to get back to some gaming time!
and yes, Dragon's got a new home.
