If you do much gaming you would probably notice a much larger performance gain from a new gpu, althoug WC can be quite fun.

I was thinking to mod old case for while now. Thank you for posting, very interesting.

From practical stand point it is better to get money into newer hardware, from modding fun point of vew -- hardware irrelevant

thanks for the post DMC. great to see gear that most would be EOLing still in use.

I'm sure many of us over here would love to know how you created that paint mod.

its my second craked effect case first one was crazy undercoat red with black crack on top and a clear coat.
soon will be the good time of the year to do it again.
it needs a to go below freezing point outside to make it work.

it needs 2 cans of paint rust paint and gravel guard.

sanded case and plastic with 800 grid to remove glossy.

1.light coat of rustguard let it dry durring day above 10c leave can in garage near so it freezes a bit.
i had all my pc parts ready and used my cd bay tabs as test pads.
first thing in the morning if its uder 0c i grap the can of gravel gard and give it a nice coat it will start to react and shrink causing cracks and see the coat under it.let it dry during the day since it whent over freezing point. wait a few days to let rubber dry fully and only then a final coat of clear or black paint .

Me thinks I will have to get that stuff and do a test run on something.

and wanted more ram but ddr2 is crazy expensive so had to go the G41m-vgs3 way and get 8 gb ddr3.

oh! I really like what you've done to the front fan cables.
                            Gotta remember that one.
I've also seen that done in scuffed up copper tube.

thanks, its actually front case header cables.

my main objective was to clear the bottom of the case for the res. rad. pump.

will have to find something better then a g41 as mobo as this one wont let me go pass 1158 fsb on a rated 1333 fsb.

my old p43 would do 1600fsb solid but to bad it was ddr2.
