Hello Everyone. here is an update on the built. so i got my new stuff and the LD V8 orange black case. it looks awesome, but i did find some places of opportunity in the sense that i payed the big bucks for a case and some thing I and do say I believe should be standard. first some screws are black but most silver, now call me picky but i would of send black screws as now i have a 3rd color that isn't part of the theme (and not being my theme but the one of the case as advertise). another the socket with treads that are on the case so you can screws the side panel and other things again, is silver. also there is some defects but i have to admit some you need to look for them and other less.
if you look closely at the edge of the side panel there is 3 location where the edge isn't completely straight, one is just above and slightly to the right of the hole to screw the panel in the first picture. now this is consistent across all edges of side panels and even the cutout for the XL plexi-glass. I don't want to make it sound worst then it is though as you really need to look to notice this.
here is the corner of the case. that is a little more obvious specially when I will be done with the build as there will be Led's inside the case the light will escape.
you see it well due to the flash in the picture aboveLast edited by MRDcanadian; 12-09-2012, 03:57 AM.

another thing is that there is no fan screws to mount the fans so you will have to purchase that on your own if you do not have any already and/if it didn't come with the fans u have. I still have to say i love the case i purchased. already started to do some of the mod i wanted to do. I wanted to make a skin for my cd drive. front plates comes in black but, ALL the rest of the cd drive was grey(bare metal) and a beigeishh colored plastic at the back. so i bought something to make it black. here is the pics (sorry for the poor camera in advance)

thanks guys, this will take time to finish as there should be a significant amount of things i should do even before i start putting components in it as i want this to be a very aesthetic build. it told me the limit was 5. i could always take a photo editing app and stack them one over the other in a single pic. where can we find these limits/rules for the forum as then size may become an issue? this will not be as good as Father Fuzzy but here is some random pics.

thanks everyone, just got back from canada computers. bought some PWM wires 1 to 4 (http://www.ekwb.com/shop/accessories...-extended.html), darn they have an molex to power the fan so my fan controller will be useless unless i re-wires that thing. plus they where out of stock for 3 pins.
found this online about fan wiring
2-pin connector (molex or mini):
Black wire: Ground
Red wire: 12V voltage
3-pin connector (mini):
Black wire: Ground
Red wire: 6~12V voltage
Yellow wire: RPM sensor
4-pin connector (mini not molex):
Black wire: Ground
Yellow wire: 6~12V voltage
Green wire: RPM sensor
Blue wire: PWM fan control
I am little confused about the color specially that the cable i bought doesn't have a green wire but a red wire. the only connector that as a 4th wire/connector in it is the yellow wire it says on a sticker that it as fan sensor. by deduction i would believe the wiring is as below as i already left out wires on my pwm to plug them in and the blue is the one not being used
Black wire: Ground
Red wire: 6~12V voltage
Yellow wire: RPM sensor
Blue wire: PWM fan control
so since i have a 50 watt per channel controller, i should be good to cut out the power wires from the molex and change them for fan pin connector and insert then in the connector as the red and black wire.
does that sound right????

Really the best way to figure out your correct on your wiring for your 4 pin to 3 oin is to look at your mother boards owner manual. Check the CPU fan header pin assignments. They should be labeled clearly in the manual.Blue Dragon CM690 II an i7 - 960 x58 build
