Oh yeah 720 rad for cpu could almost run with out any fans on rads required.Just some case fans to move air would probably to the trick.. Hehehe.
    Looking forward to the porn.

      Build Log part 1.

Here is what I started with.

      I5 4690K, Asus Z97-A USB 3.1, Hyper 212 in a Fractal Design Define R5

      Let the Disassembly begin

      Rads Installed

      Waterblock installed

      Fill Port installed

      Pump and Res installed.

That's where i got to today. (the son woke up from his nap when i got to here.... first off i need to give props to Daz, so far everything i have needed came with the order. its nice to not have to worry about missing the little things.

my only concern and this is where i am going to rely on you more experienced builders. the way my case is and the positioning of the pump res combo i am only able to use one of the two brackets to mount the pump. is that enough or should i make a bracket that i can mount the pump with both brackets??? both sides??

pic of how it is connected would help, also have you considered vibration ie: using some rubber washers like.

It's a crappy pic but that's what I have now.

Yes everything is going to have rubber washers on all the screws. This all just a dry fit. Once everything is fit it will all come apart and get cleaned out before I fill it

am thinking about the weight now once you have fluid in, guess you could try and see how it goes make something if ya need too idea, later on. Even fill with water now idea and test... see if it sags.

That's what I was worried about which is why I asked. I have an idea to re-purpose part of the optical drive cage as a mount that will hold everything rock solid. Any reason that the bracket can't cover the entire bottom of the pump???

These pumps cool from air not the water they are running through them like the d5

Ok..... bracket will still work. Just have to put a hole in the middle. Of it

Yes you really need the second bracket on that setup.
                        You've made great progress.
                        HeatKiller block looks awesome.
Loop order Pump -> Front Rad -> Top Rad -> CPU Block -> Res ? yes/no
That's how I would run it anyway.

Thanks hooded. The order I have in my head is pump -> (future gpu) -> cpu -> top rad -> front rad -> res. The reason I am going top rad first then front rad. Is the power engineer in me and thermodynamics. I'm going through the top rad first since that will be pushing the hot air out the top. Cooling most of the fluid. The front rad will take that fluid and cool it further by pulling fresh air into the case through the rad.

If I went front then top the cooling wouldn't be as good as I would be pushing hot air through the rad last.

Rez mount built. when i pull it all apart before the final build i will paint it black.

Got all the fittings in and thats where i got to tonight. Next up trying my hand at tube bending. I am already wishing that i would have thought this build out a little better in advance, or known more and had ordered a few 90s... i am going to have a couple of ugly difficult bends to try and figure out.

                                It's alive!!!!

Spent a few hours last night measuring and bending and cutting and re measuring and reb cutting and re bending. The cpu to rad run was a pain in the ass....

Ran into a fitment issue with the front rad. With the fans on the top rad there is no way that I can access one of the ports on the front rad. So daz got an order for a couple of 90's which hopefully let me connect the top and front rads directly together. Hence the soft tubing run for now.

Got it filled and circulating last night. And then realized that it was after 11pm and the 4:30 alarm clock was going to come way too soon so I shut her down after about a 1/2hour leak check. Tonight I will put some fans in and call it good enough until I get back from vacation and tear it apart to finish it.

Just using a cell phone picture for now. Will take the good pictures tonight.
