Here are how I have the tube going into the back of the old time radio I'm doing.

This is 5/8" tube I drilled 7/8" holes forthe grommets. The same style would require 1" for 3/4" tube. I got them at crappy for $.90 a piece.

Well, I burnt a lot of money during the December 2012 giveaway (happily) and as soon as the weather warms up I plan to intimate again with this build. Hanover's painting tutorials came at a decent time because I plan to put his tips into practice when I paint the interior of the 932. Only problems I have is I can't decide on which black to use - semi, gloss, flat and how to ensure no over spray from the HAF's various slots and mesh openings.

I Also will be hanging another 360 rad off the back using the Koolance rad mount. The H80 currently in place has been given notice to vacate. Front 5.25 devices are going to be re-arranged. I plan to get rid of the DVD-ROM (optical drives?? I know, I'm old-school in that department!) and keeping the Blu-ray player/burner only. This will free up a drive bay which will allow me to rotate my current 360 rad ports from the back side to the front side. Also all the cold cathodes will be removed and replaced with a cut-able LED strip. The plan is to "hide" the light sources for some effect. I might also re-work my drain setup. The military toggle switches have also been given notice. They will be replaced with flush mounted - blue LED ringed switches from Phobya.

Hey bungz, as a fellow HAF owner, what type of black exterior would you say that case has? In your opinion, would it look weird if the black exterior and (new) black interior were different shades (or shine) of black? Would an interior gloss finish make lights seem brighter?

I would say Matte? I guess.. there's certainly no gloss.
would it look weird? IDK, its all shades of black to me.

Tough call scaccima...most of the inside is kinda covered up with parts but gloss would look good on what does show for sure IMHO.

Most likely it will work more or less the same. Matt probably bad choice as it attracts dust.
