Surely you can make some kind of 3/8 10mm spacer to correct issue.

excuse me for only bombing FB with updates,
but its just so easy with my OnePlusOne....
This build has been in the works for over TWO YEARS.
In that time, I have assembled a butt ton of parts, tools and supplies.
And I still figure that I have another 200bucks to spend at DazStore.
anyways, here's the meat of what you may have missed.
The original front panel had to become the backpanel owing to the mobo tray inversion.
On the C70, there's a horrible plastic window with mesh holes to mount a 120mm fan... pure crap.
but I couldn't just chuck it... so I thought I would recycle!
Trimmed off all the crap, and left the mounting frame, which adapts to the black boarder.
The major white pane is the cut out from what will now be the front panel window - which confusingly used to be the backpanel... lol
And of yes, that's a Bill Owen original Hardware Canucks 140mm fan grill.
Since there are no 140mm fans in the build, I had to use it as décor!
This example of the orange paint was attempt no.3.... its been perfected, but is currently curing.
The front panel mod, in case you missed that part, is a combination of dremel and filing out the original mesh,
to accommodate a 3x120 Caselabs rad mount.
Honestly, I couldn't believe how perfectly this fit in here, so much so that I wonder what the hell is up with the Corsair engineers?
I'm using a TFC Admiral rad with NZXT FZ120mm LED fans.. that's orange...

So, I finally got up the balls to start painting indoors...
Here's my booth - comes with a nice little lock to keep the boy out while things dry.
I also discovered a brilliant use for this ugly 1990's armoire .. stage some pics. (more from here to come)
Naturally once I got going on the paints, the ideas started flowing...
Here's the work I completed on my GPU.
Even Mrs. Bungz was at least moderately impressed...

My choice of XFX 750 Black PSU has proven to be bloody brilliant.
I've discarded the original fan for a Cougar Vortex 120mm Orange - box of 4 was on sale at NCIX for 12bucks...
Then I went and painted the frame all white, except for the backside cause of the mesh, and the front side... I'm still debating.
Removing the grill sticker was a POS... burning fingers from too much heat gun.
and the XFX logo is not currently fixed...
Internally, there are still a few issues to sort out... holes to be drilled to mount the pump and HDD.
The mobo tray blanking plate has also been redesigned... owing to my decision to forgo all forms of precise measurement.
I did buy a new Dewalt rivet gun. so I can now full dissemble the case, clean it proper and give her some gloss.
But finally, I am thinking of where tubes will run!!
First, will I do something else with that XSPC CPU block... IDK.
So One Eye... pretty heavy photobomb for you.

Looking good. I used to have that memory kit. Very under-rated for the price.
Nice work Mr. BungZDS340-E: Core I7 3770K Undervolted at 4.3Ghz, Asrock Z77 Extreme-3, 16GB of Adata XPG V2 gold RAM at 2200mhz, XFX R9 290 with EK water block and (I love) gold backplate, EK tubing, Bitspower and Darkside fittigs, Darkside RGB lighting with handy remote control, WD Black Dual (120GB SSD+1TB mechanical) hard disk, Swiftech PWM fan controller, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Haza. got some modding going on over here.
Decided I would paint up the Admiral and this is what I found.
I think I spoke to Daz already about finding replacement part and is no go??
So, I think I'll just go get some epoxy and fill in all those redundant rectangular channels across the top and bottom.
such a stupid design for just four screws to hold a backplate...
