      Sweet rig Izerous.
Looks like it's 100% Koolance cooling as well, execpt maybe that Bitspower tube res.

Until this revision everything was koolance except the liquid well and pumps but even koolance pumps are a sticker shoved onto a D5 so I don't give them credit for that one. The tubing is now feser, the pump top is EK, and the res is bitspower as you noticed.

I had configured a Koolance tube res to be what I wanted but a small voice in the back of my head keeps wanting to convince myself to buy a second HX-1080, 9 TK-121 fans and their appropriate sandwich kits and it wasn't going to work with the Koolance res the way I was thinking but will with this bitspower one (chances of doing are pretty low though).

Also not many companies seem to stock aluminum rads anymore. And for the cost vs performance difference I have continued to buy aluminum rads. the copper HX-1080 is almost 2x the cost of the aluminum one but the performance difference is negligible especially at that kind of cost difference.

Edit: Side note both graphics cards were reporting 16'c - 17'c above ambient @ idle last night (fan speed about 66%), the second card was reporting closer to 36'c - 40'c above ambient @ idle before I included it in the loop. Didn't get as far to test it at load yet.

Forgive a noob for asking, but aren't you suppose to avoid using aluminum rads with copper blocks due to galvanic corrosion?

Only if the fluid touches raw copper and raw aluminum. If it is plated the fluid touches the plating not the material underneath.

Made a large order for a friend and tossed in a few parts for myself, Enough to make a 9 -> 1 fan harness instead of using a bunch of Y adapters.

Now just got to make the cable and figure out a shroud for the fans.

Both together will make the rad look a lot nicer.

Hey, one quick question about those CE panels. I like them, but I hate the fact the exhaust ports are a hexagon instead of circles. Do the seem easily modifiable with a circular drill bit?

Circular drill bit is probably a bad idea there isn't really enough material left over to circle out like that, however he will also do the brick design you can see on others... he will if you ask him probably be able to cut you a custom pattern (extra cost of course)

So... I was looking forward to a calm weekend coming up but when I walked in the office this morning the secretary handed me a box I wasn't expecting, and it gives me a weekend project. Contained in the box is something I would normally swap into my system and be on my way but I'm going to put a bit more effort into this with a before and after, I figure it deserves at least that. This is a great way to start of a Monday morning. Glad I ordered 4 bottle of this fluid instead of just what I needed.

Side note purposely not mentioning what it is till later.

Also going to try and remember to take pictures with how I use QDCs to drain my system instead of having T fittings and ball valves or similar approaches etc.

So based on fuzzy's directions I made a stop on the way home bought a roll of vellum (extra in case I really messed it up) and threw something together for a small light box. Needs some work, light actual lights instead of using a pair of VPX flashlights and well the light fixture above the kitchen table, probably pick up something next time I'm at IKEA. Anyways what arrived was not something as extravagant as a new GPU or something like that but to be honest was even more excited than that to see what was in the box.

At first I was excited and disappointed at the same time, the box was labeled CPU-380I but then I saw the AMD plate also in the box. Thankfully unlike the SI/SA 370 blocks these ones still can be used between them with the right plate. Anyways this means I now have a great excuse to do some temperature benchmarking between the 2 blocks, and actually between 2 pastes as with the last order from Daz I also picked up a tube of MX-4 find out if it is actually time to retire my AS5 that I have been using since well I don't know how long now.

EDIT: I was seriously considering putting it on the rear bumper of the truck we picked up in December (Black SL frontier + chrome) as I was thinking it would kinda match and look cool with the reflection of the paint, but it is -19c before the windchill and getting colder this week... so I don't really want to be outside.
